NAME // Spring & Summer 2013
Japanese label Name presents a "Sandlot/Hogwarts/Summer Camp" influenced lookbook. Young chaps don Spring 2013, entitled CMYK, C = Colour, M = Merge, Y = Youth, K = Knowledge. Needless to say, strong American influences throughout, a 50s/60s feel with overalls, checked harringtons, V-Stitch waffle sweatshirts alongside more modern patch shirts, baseball caps & parkas.

"Wood Design started with the idea of featuring furniture makers, artists, designers and architects to give prominence to the stories of the material in contemporary design as well as that of the makers working with it. What we found was an inspirational array of people and designs at the forefront of craftsmanship today. As we got to know some of them we started gathering a group of North American independent furniture makers to create an online shop unlike anything else available online or on the high street.
